Cleft Palate Data Collection Initiative

Currently, there is a lack of comprehensive data on the prevalence of cleft palate cases in Iraq. To address this, our organization has launched a data collection initiative aimed at gathering reliable statistics. We are working in close collaboration with hospitals, gynecologists, and through public awareness efforts to document and analyze cleft palate cases. This initiative seeks to:

Establish an accurate understanding of the incidence and geographic distribution of cleft palate conditions in Iraq
Identify gaps in medical services and resources for affected children and their families
Inform and guide the development of targeted programs and interventions to improve care and outcomes

By engaging healthcare professionals and the wider community, we aim to build a robust database that will serve as a foundation for future research, policy-making, and resource allocation to support children with cleft palates in Iraq.
